This high-level showcase will highlight how Korea Green New Deal Trust Fund (KGNDTF) supports partner countries in developing bankable green growth project pipelines and scaling them through partnerships with Korean institutions, the private sector, and MDBs such as the Asian Development Bank. The session will present selected results and project examples and discuss opportunities for a deeper cooperation between GGGI and ADB around pipeline development, regional collaboration, and MDB-linked financing.
Artificial Intelligence is transforming economies and societies at unprecedented speed. Yet AI's growing energy demand poses significant sustainability challenges. This session will explore pathways to establish a Global Green AI Partnership that aligns technological innovation with climate responsibility.
Philanthropic organizations play a unique role in taking risks that governments and investors often cannot. By funding innovation, strengthening institutions, and de-risking early-stage initiatives, they help transform promising ideas into large-scale development and investment opportunities. This session will explore how philanthropy can accelerate climate action, mobilize blended finance, and strengthen partnerships across governments, development finance institutions, and the private sector.
The day with will close with a special evening celebrating the partnerships, cultures, and shared ambition that unite the global green growth community. Bringing together leaders from government, business, finance, philanthropy, academia, and international organizations, the evening will provide an opportunity to connect, build new relationships, and set the stage for two days of dialogue and collaboration. The evening will conclude with a networking reception, providing delegates with the opportunity to meet fellow participants, reconnect with partners, and begin forging the collaborations that will define the discussions and outcomes of the Summit.
The 2025 edition of the Global Green Growth Week convened an international gathering of policymakers, technical experts, innovators, and development partners to exchange knowledge and explore actionable solutions for a more sustainable future.
Over the course of the week, more than 3,000 participants joined the discussions both in person and online, reflecting the global relevance and collaborative spirit of the event. Across 25 sessions held at GGGI Headquarters in Seoul and on the sidelines of the APEC 2025 Summit in Gyeongju, more than 130 speakers shared forward-looking insights on green innovation, climate finance, nature-based solutions, resilient infrastructure, and the partnerships needed to accelerate low-carbon development.
Their contributions showcased practical pathways and emerging ideas shaping the next generation of climate and development action.
